Do my customers need to download an app?

No. Customers scan your QR code and a loyalty pass opens in their browser. They can save it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (or just bookmark it) — no app store, no account required, no password to remember.

Does Loop work with my POS or register?

Accepted Answer

Loop Customer runs entirely on the web, so your existing register stays exactly as it is. Stamp a customer by scanning the QR on their pass from any phone or tablet — there's nothing to integrate. If your POS doesn't have an open API, that's fine; we don't need one.

What if my POS system isn't supported?

Loop Customer doesn't integrate with any POS, by design. You don't connect anything. Your cashier stamps a customer by scanning the QR on their pass with a phone or tablet — that works alongside Square, Toast, Clover, Shopify POS, Lightspeed, or even a pure cash drawer.

How long does setup take?

Most shops are stamping their first customer inside ten minutes. The onboarding wizard walks you through naming your reward, picking colors, and printing your first sticker sheet. No coding, no installer, no card on file required for the trial.

How is the QR code different from a regular barcode?

Accepted Answer

A QR is a 2D matrix that can encode a full URL, so every customer scan opens a real web page — your loyalty pass — without a scanner gun. A 1D barcode just encodes a short number that needs a database lookup on a register. QRs work with any modern phone camera; barcodes don't.

What do I get for the flat platform fee?

Everything except the phone minutes. The flat fee turns on your always-on AI receptionist — it answers every call, takes orders, books tables and appointments, remembers each customer, and even calls customers back — plus your whole storefront: a loyalty program with Apple & Google Wallet cards, online ordering, bookings, a mini-website with local SEO, and your Customer Hub. Your first 50 minutes are free; after that you buy packs (from 120 up to 2,000 minutes) that never expire and carry over month to month. Auto-recharge tops you up automatically when you run low so you never miss a call. Bigger packs lower your per-minute rate.

Yes — a 15-day free trial plus 50 free minutes, and no credit card to begin. You can run the receptionist and the full platform free before you ever pay. After the trial the flat platform fee starts, and voice minutes are pay-as-you-go from your first paid pack.

Does the AI make outbound calls, or only answer?

Both. It answers every inbound call 24/7 — no missed calls, no voicemail — and it also calls customers back: order confirmations, “your order's ready,” “your table's ready,” win-backs, and follow-ups. So it works the phone in both directions, not just when someone calls you.

Is there a contract?

No contract. The platform fee is month-to-month (or annual if you choose, which saves you two months) and you can cancel from /dashboard/billing in two taps. Cancelling stops further charges; access continues through the end of your current paid period and your customer data stays intact. Voice packs are one-time purchases — your remaining minutes don't disappear.

Can I earn money by referring other businesses to Loop?

Yes — our partner program pays you for every business you bring to Loop. Yes — native Apple Wallet (.pkpass) and Google Wallet passes are live on every plan, including the free tier. The customer taps once on the pass page to save it. Stamp updates push to the wallet automatically and surface on their lock screen when they're near your shop.

Can a customer have the pass on multiple devices?

Yes. They can save the pass to wallet on each device they use — phone, tablet, Apple Watch — and the stamp count syncs across all of them in real time. The pass is tied to their customer record, not the device.

What if a customer loses their phone?

Accepted Answer

Open the customers list in your dashboard, find them by email or phone, and re-send the wallet link. They scan it on the new device and their full stamp history is right where they left it. The pass lives on our servers, not just their old device.

How does a customer earn a stamp?

Accepted Answer

Two ways. Either the cashier scans the QR on the customer's pass during checkout, or you hand the customer a single-use sticker after a paid visit and they scan it themselves. Posters never grant a stamp — they're for discovery and joining only.

What stops a customer from cheating the system?

Each printable sticker is a one-time code — once scanned, the same sticker can't be used again. Posters never trigger a stamp directly. The cashier-side redeem console only accepts scans from your authenticated merchant device, never from a customer's phone.

Can I export my customer list?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Export to CSV from the customers page in your dashboard at any time, on any plan including the free tier. You own the list — Loop holds it on your behalf and never sells, shares, or uses it for our own marketing. Your data leaves with you if you cancel.

Loop runs anywhere with internet. The product UI is in English; pricing is shown in your local currency for the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Mexico, the Philippines, India, and Brazil.
