Loop Customer is a small team obsessed with one thing — making the loyalty card the corner shop already loves work on every modern phone, without the corner shop having to change a thing.
Our story
We bootstrapped Loop Customer in 2025 because every loyalty-card tool we tried sucked.
The good ones cost more per month than the average independent shop makes in a slow weekend. The cheap ones forced customers to download yet another app, hand over a phone number, and remember another password. Most made the merchant integrate a POS they didn't own with software they didn't want.
So we started with the simplest possible thing — a QR code on a sticker, a wallet pass on the customer's phone, and a merchant dashboard that you can run from the same iPad you use to take payment. No app. No POS plug-in. No card on file. We shipped the first version on nights and weekends and watched a local coffee shop test it with real customers the morning after.
We're still small, and we like it that way. The founder writes code with Claude every day; every line of Loop Customer has been read by a human and a frontier model before it ever touches your shop. Customer support comes from the same inbox. Bugs get fixed the day they're reported.
Still self-funded. Still building from a small office in Palo Alto.
